well i just downloaded nba live 08, i have slim psp, with the official firmware 3.90, and the file i downloaded was .rar then i unpacked it and its now PSP_GAME with another file that is 1 kb its called UMD_DATA, what do i have to do next to put the game on my psp.
do i need custom firmware?
and where do you put the file also on the psp?

Ok i just downloaded the cfw of 3.90 m33
is the file psp game an iso or directory file.

You need pandora and magic memory stick to upgrade to cfw from 3.90 its the only way. You cannot run the updates on ofw. As for the game folder and umd bin file, they should just be one file, try downloading umdgen, drag the 2 files into right hand box and save as iso.
