i very happy to heard that,,,i don't have worry about HD movie format anymore...as i'm own 1 ps3 but i have not standalone blu-ray player yet..i'm waiting for blu-ray release version....PARAMOUNT PICTURE finally annouce switch to BLU-RAY ,,there is only DREAMWORK still has not be confirm to change to BLU-RAY....

now all we need is the conversion software
there are some nice movies on hddvd so we can convert it to bluray
or sony might do that who knows
i hope sony does it so we don't have to worry about conversion

Yeah most of the HD-DVD companies already announced that they will be putting out their back catalog of old movies and movies already released on HD-DVD on to Blu Ray in the the very near future.
I told you so.

I humblely disagree as I believe that BD is not what the masses want. I believe dvd regular is here to stay and will not be supplanted until the next super HD beomes available as 1 format.
