I know that you should be able to play different regions in different psp's with no problems, but what I'm wanting to know is if there are any actual differences in the game?

For example, I downloaded castlevania with an EUR region prefix, but the game is still in English and everything seems fine...

I thought that the EUR would stand for European or something like that, but in the castlevania EUR iso I have, the only two languages to choose from are Japanese and English lol. So if you're a "purist" would you want to get the actual US version of the game over the EUR version or does it matter at all?

I dont think it matters. I got the USA version of Disegea and its only on english . Works for me :)

Generally it won't matter but online games may be tied into a particular region... i.e. If you have a US version of Socom it will prolly scan US servers for games as opposed to the Euro version which will scan Euro servers.
