I have an original Xbox. Not sure what motherboard verison I have but I dont know if that matters.

I posted on here for help because I thought that I was having a cooling problem with my xbox. I was given a link to a page that showed worn down leads on the bottom of the motherboard and the symptoms that they caused sounded like what was wrong with mine. So I took apart my xbox, flipped over my motherboard and could not find anything like what they were talking about. When I was putting the Xbox back together, I noticed a capacitor had a strange "substance" under it. At first glance, it looked like the white glue that can be found on the power supply, but at a closer look, it looks like the bottom of the capacitor has been blown out. I'm not sure because I can't get a good look at it. I'm at school right now but when I get home, I'll take some pictures and post them here.

Also, if the capacitor is blown, can I easily replace it, or is it a certain type that microsoft has specifically for the Xbox or something stupid like that?

The Xbox still works fine. I have not had a problem with it shutting off unless I forget to turn on my 1 foot fan behind it to keep it cool.

I want to buy a clear case and neon inputs, so before I do that, I want to make sure that I'm not spending money on something thats going to breake in a month or two.
