Will going to the Internet Channel to buy the Opera Browser affect or brick my wii? I have a modded wii with a wii key and have been careful never to go online with it as to not get it bricked. I really need to purchase the Opera Browser so that I can log onto ORB. I just want to be careful and make sure I don't get bricked.

Nintendo can't tell if you have a modchip on. Going online isn't going to brick your Wii. I've downloaded channels from the internet and updated firmware and my Wii is fine. Go ahead and download it, and what is ORB?

Orb is streaming software you run on your PC which you access on various platforms, another PC, mobile phone, Wii (prolly other consoles like Xbox 360 etc.) You use a browser to connect to it and then stream music, videos, view photos, watch inet TV, listen to inet radio etc on your client. You need opera browser to access it on the Wii though Orb itself is free. It's not amazing on the Wii but still worth having. I personally use it mainly on my phone.

Before I could download the (internet channel/opera browser) I had to update to 3.2U firmware. Although I was extremely nervous, the update went fine. I was able to connect to ORB and started streaming. The video streaming looked a bit sluggish on my Wii/TV combo as appose to looking great on my pocket pc. I won't complain as I am happy that it works on my wii.
