I heard something about a fix which is needed to start this game. My friend had this fix but he deleted it is saved by sony. That means you can only copy it 5 times.

Maybe this act.dat is that required fix - i don't know. I need this fix too!

Wait guys....
Maybe a stupid guy went & compress the PSP ISO game into an EBOOT?
Using some PSX Compresser?

Try using a PSX Compresser & Decompress it back to an ISO?

Why dont you ask your friend for the act.dat, unless he deleted it. but if he did delete it, cant he download it again, and make it work? I really want this game!

Also when I put in the game folder I got the error message saying "Game cannot be started (80010087)"
Then I put it in the game 371 (or game 3xx folder) and got a different error message "Game cannot be started (80010002)"

a psp game as an eboot.pbp save your self the time search the game you want and add iso to the end umd gen and umd emu's are out dated current firmware allows users to access the umd drive with ausb cable and copy anything you want. Any actual psp game you have should be an iso or cso andthe ony program you should ever need is psp iso compressor

right just have a good look on the internet for this act.dat and found this. now what i was thinking is that the act.dat may have been deleted from your psp if you try the program above and get an error when backing up the act.dat then it may be that it has been delted. i was reading into pandoras battery with the act.dat and it say you should back up the act.dat.

so if you used pandoras battery you may have deleted it and not backed it up.

this is all that im suggesting iv never really heard of the act.dat untill now and have never found any thing of the psn store in my psp so iv never had any problems of this sort.

another thing that i could suggest trying is booting up the ofw on dark alexs timemachine and see if that works because is loading of the ofw and not cfw.

hope that all helps and sorry if it does sound all stupid but i have not looked into too much detail into this file]

edit: for all thoughs that think that all that has happen is that they have got the psp iso and converted it to an eboot with a psx converter are all wrong sorry but it true. what it is that they have download a full game of the psn which has come in the eboot format (like demos but it the full game) because ofw can run iso files sony have made them into a eboot.

I tried the program that backs up the act.dat and no problems. Then I checked the timemachine and it loads 1.50 OFW, dont you think you would need the latest firmware to play SONY games.

And Cartman12 does your friend kniw what was the name of what he fixed?

i got syphon filter:combat ops and i play it on my psp. i have no ps3, and i have not bought it from ps store.

it is in my ISO folder and it works perfectly.

but my question is: can i play syphon filter: combat ops without playstation network account? because i think it is a psp game.

and it is .ISO, not EBOOT.PBP.

so what account i need to play it on infrastructure and where do i do the account?
