help need to downgrade 3.30 to 1.5!!!!

i forgot what version my psp was when i got it its been a while, a year ago i downgraded to 1.5 but then after some time i upgraded to 3.30 and now i want to go back to 1.5 but i dont know if there is a way can someone help me out!

yep easy and you got two ways of doing it

1) using lumines exploit for 3.50 which can be found here and a tutorial can be found here
2)you can use pandoras battery
i)soft mod if you know someone with cfw tutorial here
ii)hard mod if you dont know someone with a cfw psp tutorial here

im not shure this will work because my psp is on version 3.30 and the info you gave me is for downgrading version 3.50? will it still work?

you need to install it on to you psp by putting it into your game folder and then running it. it should have in the rar file a eboot.pbp just put that into the game folder.

you will need winrar to open up the rar file you can get it here its free

got to game on the psp menu and the go to memory stick icon at the bottom and it should be in there it should say "3.50 update" or something like that. run that making sure not to turn the power off while its updating and once its finished you will have a 3.50 psp ready to be downgraded by lumines game 0_<

if it does come up and say corrupted file then you might have to put it in a folder called update and then put that in the game folder e.g.
e:/psp/game/update/eboot.pbp

that should work if not try downloading the file again and if you still have the problem then try another 3.50 update you can get it from here

by the way (sorry to be a bit nose) which way are you planning on downgrading lumines, pandora(hardmod) or pandoras(softmod).

im stuck here: Copy the contents of the folder MS_ROOT from the 3.50 downgrader ZIP to the memory stick. where is this memory stick is it a folder on my psp i dont know where ami i suposed to put the contents of the folder MS_ROOT!!!

right the ms_root means memory stick root like the first part when you open it up in windows explorer.

you dont need to put anything in the root. you need to put HEN_350 with the files in in the folder psp then you need to put the lumines save game data into savedata.

then you have it set to run the lumines game

i put the HEN_350 on my psp folderand i also put the ULES00043LUMINES folder in my SAVEDATA folder and when i check on the saved data itility lumines pops out on my psp but nothing happens i cant start it!! what am i doing wrong !!! by the way im sorry for being such a headache,i really apreciate your help!!!

6. Make sure you have 3.50 HEN now and go to your XMB > GAME> Memory Stick and Go to the UPDATE X.YZ and run it.
7. Read what it says and press x if you agree and R-TRIGGA if u dunt.

9. A corrupted data screen will apear. Press O.

you do need the save data to run it because it uses a exploit when it saves data at the start.
after you have booted lumines the sreen should go black and then it should go back to the (psp menu) xmb menu.

to check that every thing has worked go to system then system information and see if it say 3.50 HEN then you've done it right. if not check that every thing is in the correct places and the load the game again. if it does say 3.50 HEN then you can move on to running the 1.50 update.

do this by putting the update folder (from inside psp and then game) into your game folder on the psp.

next rename the 1.50 update to UPDATE.pbp then copy it into the update folder.

once you have done that go to your memory stick under game on your psp and in there there should be a thing that says x.yz update

click it and it will start do load the downgrader (note you should have your battery charged at about 75%+)

if you have a TA-082+ mother board (just follow this if it prompts you if you want to patch the motherboard then you have a TA-082+ mother board) it will ask you if you want to patch the motherboard

once you have said yes(if you needed to) it will ask you if you agree to downgrade (if you dont press the r trigger) press yes again ( which i think is x but im not sure it should tell you thought on the screen)

now it will start to downgrade by running the 1.50 update. note: put your psp down somewhere its not going to get knocked and have the ac adapter in, also dont turn it off until told to! if it turns off then you will end up with a brick and will have to use pandoras to sort it out (but im sure you wont need to because you will successful install it 0_< )

once it has finished it should say something like press x to reset. this will reboot your psp to the xmb menu.

it might say corrupt data this means that some of your flash1 files got corrupt(dont worry this is normal flash1 is where it stores data that you have put in e.g time and date) this means that you have to re enter your information and internet connection again.

now you should be at 1.50 0_<

i would now suggest updateing to 3.52m33 which is here
