ok i have a psp slim v3.72...so i want to play downloaded games including psp and gba,but i dont know anything about how to go about it...ive been looking but all i see is that i need firmware and pandoras battery but i cant get them because everything i read tells me i need to have ahold of a psp that already can play downloaded games....nobody i know even has a psp...so what im really trying to find out is how exactly i go about doing this with only MY psp....

you can hard mod the battery or by a datel tool battery that will allow you to use pandoras battery hard mod tutorial is here

You dont absolutley need to have a PSP with custom firmware alreayd. you can use a Pandora's batery. Here is the link to the Total newbie easy installer. if you download it and run the application youse basically half done since it creates the magic memory stick for you. Besides that all you need is the battery which you could hard mod yourself or buy one of ebay. There about 40-45 dollars.

So all in all you will need A: Total Newbie Easy Installer:

And B: A battery that you have modded or bought alreayd modded.

but isnt there a way to soft mod the battery with some sort of application or program or something cuz i read it somewhere that dark_alex did it.......but i could be wrong...

there is but u will need a phat psp with custom firmware and phat battery

he did make it so you can softmod it but it needs a cfw psp to install it because you dont know anyone with a cfw psp then you will have to hardmod the battery or buy a ready modded battery.

get a flat head screw driver and put it in to the side of the case like up to the side of it and then very slowly pry it open.

theres a guide here that should help. it shows opening it with a guitar pik but a flat head screw driver would work as well and should work better.

just take it slow 0_<
