I had this same problem, what I did was as follows...

Plug in charger.
Turn ON psp.
Put in pandora.
Turn OFF psp.
Turn on psp again.

Worked for me, good luck to you...

Try putting in magic memory stick first. Then put in pandora. Then plug ac adapter in see what happens. If nothing try turning psp off with mem card and pandora nad ac adapter plugged in then turn it on see if that helps.

I made a pandora battery by removing the right pin.. after that the magic memstick but when it comes to the part where i put in the memstick and after that the battery; my psp wont boot..

the thing is my psp is very hard to boot.. with only the pandora batt and even if it boots It shuts down within 1 minute... the question is why doesnt it automatically boot and automatically install the cfw on the magic mstick??
