I used HellCat's Pandora's Battery creator Rev 3a to create a Pandora's battery. I guess I sort of forgot to back up the eeprom and I converted it back to normal and it automatically changed the serial. Now, it seems my battery life is shorter than normal, I get maybe 1 hour of play before it goes down from 3 bars to 2 bars. I was wondering if the serial number had anything to do with that?

This is wat I found on the net NOTE: You can also restore a battery without having made a backup, by pressing SQUARE at step 6. This will generate a fake serial for your battery (0x12345678) which allows it to work normally, but there could be side-effects.

yes, shorter battery life can be one of the effects.

best is to keep that battery as a pandora's battery, and get the sony 2200mAh as the normal battery.

you should be able to find the 2200mAh stamina batteries at most game stores, or the sony store is you live near one.
