Hi, I recently just tried to downgrade my PSP slim with my friend's phat battery and when I tried to put my original battery back in, it turned on, but the screen was blank and the green light was on for around 10-15seconds.
Btw, I did not even get to downgrade my psp, his pandora battery also had the problem described above (blank screen, green light, then turn off).
Thanks.

in order to downgrade you need to have a magic memory stick tutorial is here all you need to look at is the magic memory stick part because you've got pandoras battery sorted already.
by the way the slim can be downgraded to 1.50 it need to have something like 3.71m33 put on it just a warning if you thought you could 0_<

plug it into the ac adapter and then turn it on.
it should load the xmb menu if not the your psp is bricked so you'll have to use that pandoras battery to fix it.

I'm pretty sure it's bricked, since that doesn't work.
Is there a way to connect the Memory stick to the computer so I can put the files on it? I have a MMC/SD port. When I insert my Memory stick, the light turns green but nothing pops up on my computer.
**My psp cannot turn on and therefore cannot go into usb mode, so I need to directly connect my memory card to comp.

you need to set up Pandoras battery first if you havnt done so already. if you havent i suggest doing that first does your friends phat psp have cfw on if? if so then read the tutorial i gave you in the posts above.
if your friend doesnt have cfw then you'll have to uses the hardmod version which can be found if you click on my userbar in my sig(or you could buy a datel tool battery)
then you should start to make the magic memory stick. because your friend has a psp (working) then it means that you can use his to connect the memory stick to the computer.
i suggest asking ur friend round and sit down and go through the tutorial that you need and use his psp to fix yours.
hope that all help 0_<

And it's highly unlikely he'll let me borrow his psp =/

lol
now you've got it connected use the tutorial above and skip the bit about the pandoras battery bit. read the part about the easyinstaller thats the bit that you need or as a alternate i just found out about this which also does the same job as the easy installer but its got the 3.80m33 installer on it instead of 3.71m33. its called disinter v3.80 google it and you should find it.
hope that all helps 0_<

Aww man...this still doesn't work.
I've downloaded everything I need onto my mem card. But even with my pandora battery, I can't turn it on.
I've tried taking out the battery and connecting the charger with no luck.
