I CAN CONFIRM SINCE THE LAST FIRMWARE RELEASE ALL PROBLEMS ARE NOW RECTIFIED
i have taken this box and tried it out the problems are as follows that i found
1 the box scans the same way as the arnet does except the freq are hard coded
2 the box does not scan on the proper freq that the cc company use unlike the arnet
3 the box does use the correct channel numbers same as the arnet
4 the categories are rubbish and do not work here below is a list of them
movies categories ==== brings up the sports channels
sports dito ========= brings up nothing at all no channels
news dito ========== brings up kids channels
documentaries ======= brings up the news channels
kids ================ brings up the music channels
music =============== brings up the movies channels
how wrong they got this especially with a new box on the market
in the c***** area you do not even get this listing
at least with the arnet you get the correct freq being used by the cc company
you also get the correct categories listing on the arnet as well
over all impression of this box good at the scanning of the channels in all areas in ireland
smells of a copy of the kryptview except they did not get the categories part correct
marks out of 10 i would rate this box 6 loss of points due to the categories hard coded freq and copied idea from the arnet could have come up with something original for their new box themselves

no i only beleive in giving the truth about boxes that are not up to the standard that they say they are or do not do things that they state they will do that is all

yes u are correct as usuall,no finer tester to have as what u see u dont always get

Ok i have just come home and my channels are still on no problem
Can you tell me what area you are in what box you have and then we will take it from there ok

hello fergus, just off the phone it seems these channels are missing all over the midlands. i plugged in my C****S box and checked and not on that either so i rang them and they say there does appear to be a problem with channels on that freq. so maybe a day or so and they will fix it

so anyone with the box-t or eurovox tx thats missing sly drama, family, TCM & MGM dont do anything with your boxes they will come back

Which box would people recommend Kryptview or Starview 3 ?
Have a Starview 2 and working fine so comfortable with menus etc. but want to buy another and not sure after reading review above that Starview 3 is the best choice.

fergus has gone to the trouble of posting a review and telling you the starview3 smells like a copy of the kryptview arnet he gives it 6out of 10,and you still ask which box should you buy,any tutorials and info and other help you need for the kryptview will always be available in here,so my advise would be if you want a new box go for the kryptview

Just got the superbox. Can anyone tell me how to get the channels in alphabetical order?
I've tried following the instructions ( red button etc) but to no avail!
I want to get the channels starting at Animal Planet and finishing on Zee Tv!!
Any suggestions?

menu
channel edit press ok
pin > 0000
press sort (red button)
alphabetic (red button again)
exit back out to channels
This should work.

you cant sort the superbox as the channels are hard coded to work one way only you either use the channel numbers or you use the channel listing by pressing ok and choosing weather or not you want sports or movie categories
Only the older starview 1 and 2 Thebox you had the ability to do that
