wii laser problem?

I have just run in to a minor problem that I think could turn in to something pretty big. Today, I just played some wii games, and the problem was that it took longer to load after I clicked some tabs than normal. I tried other games, and it did this for them also. I was wondering if maybe this had something to do with the wii laser, or just the wii. I am really scared since I have a wiikey installed, and I can't send it back to Nintendo if I have to get it fixed.

in your wiikey settings did you set your read speed to x3 ?

note: when you put the config disc in it will not show current settings, only default settings, i reccomend you put in your 1.3 config disc and and save the settings with lazer set at 6x speed and see if it sorts it self out :D

Thanx for the reply, but I haven't touched the wiikey settings for a really long time, and it was working great like a week ago.
