hi ive been having this one annoying problem with my cd dvd burner on my laptop. it can never read cds dvds or burn anything. its really a problem for me cause i need to burn cds but it dusnt allow me too. also programs say cannot locat drive and burner and in da device manager it says "Windows cannot start this hardware device because its configuration information (in the registry) is incomplete or damaged. (Code 19)" and how can i reinstall this burner and make it work please help me.

This is a link to an HP site - but the information in step 3 is relevant to your problem (error code 19).
Basically you have to uninstall any program that can burn disks (Nero, ImgBurn, etc) then cleanup the registry.
