Is D2CKey better then D2Pro? Or is there better chips?

I just bought a Wii today and want to mod it, but I can't decide which modchip to use. I rule out the others and iam leaning toward either D2CKey or D2Pro. For those who has these modchip or is using it. Please let me know how you like or dislike it. Which one is better between those 2 modchips? Please let me know since i want to get it modded ASAP. Thanks guys..

D2Pro is by the same ppl as D2CKey and is their most recent chip so you'd have to assume it's better than D2CKey. The Infectus Argon is another option to the D2Pro - both are similar but most recently another chip has surfaced and it may well be the best to date.

Thanks for the quick reply. I also heard that the "Wasabi" modchip is also pretty good....?

I would hold off on getting the "wasabi" till it hits the market and reviews have been done. It can claim all the features it wants and claim only a certain amount of wires are needed but till it is proven to be stable I wouldn't jump into it at this time.

If you can't wait for the "wasabi" I would recommend Infectus 2/ARGON/D2Pro but if your interested in the "wasabi" I would recommend holding off till more information becomes available of stability of the Modchip.

Infectus 2 also can be used for other System Platforms (Wii/XBOX 360/PS2/PS3) just an added bonus if you ever wanted to trade your Wii in for another system you would have a compatible Modchip.

As larry said, the infectus 2 is a badass chip! The wasabi looks really good on paper but there has been no reviews or any kind of history on it yet. So far as far as history goes, the wiikey has been tested and has held its own but it's time has come and gone in my opinion. There are too many new chipsets coming out and new copy protection measures surfacing. I would look to the new ones that are surfacing and wait.

Thanks for the quick respond guys. You're right that Wasabi sounds really good on paper, but not sure if it stable or not. I guess I'll wait till wasabi comes out and if it not as good as D2Pro, then I'll get D2Pro or Infectus 2. What are the advantages of Infectus 2? Is it upgradeable? Etc... Please let me knw...

Infectus 2 pretty much has the same features as D2Pro does but as I said it can be used for multiple system platforms. With the new 1.8 Wiiktus firmware that has been released for the Infectus 2 it is a very stable Wii modchip. Both are updateable via Jtag programmer so even updating is the same.

Another plus for Infectus 2 is the forum support which you pretty much have the programmers working hand in hand with the users during testing of firmware updates and products.

You will never get everyone to agree with what Modchip is best I just think the Infectus 2 offers the most out of all Modchips out at this time.
