Hi can anyone please help me i got pinnicle instant cd/dvd version 8 for christmas so i could burn dvds but everyone i put in to burn to file(as i only have 1 dvd drive the other is cd burner) tells me that it cant copy the dvd cause its css protected.Is there a way around this or is this program useless it was the only 1 the store was selling.I would appreciate any help thankyou

You can only burn home made dvds using pinnacle that way, if you want to back up you dvd collection you will have to take off the css using de-crypter or smart ripper first, check out the quides on this site on using smart ripper/dvd de-crypter
