3.52 M33 FW to 3.71 M33 FW

Whats the difference with these?
I'm on 3.52 at the moment and it was suggested that I upgrade but what do you gain or loose from doing this?

Has anything been writen showing the pro's and con's of each firmware? to show noob's like me what we're getting out of upgrading.

Also with the new firmware's have do you go about running 1.50 apps. Do you have to change the settings of the PSP?

im not an 3.52m33 user but when u upgrade to newer versions like 3.90m33 you get skype (if you haw slim) and internet radio (3.80 m33) i know that there are 1.50 addon for 3.71 m33 3.80 m33 and 3.90 m33 so u can play 1.50 apps

are you on 3.52m33 cfw or are you on 3.52 ofw

you can check this by going to settings --> system settings --> system information and it should tell you the version there.

if you are on 3.52 then your going to have to use pandoras battery to get to 3.52m33-2,3,4 and then get to 3.71m33 (click on my userbar in my sig theres the softmod and hard mod version of pandoras battery)

as for the pros and cons of 3.52m33 to 3.71m33 there isn't that many that sony put on so the pros are:

you can play newer games
added the ability to put sony pft themes on it
that is about it really

as for the cons well there aren't that many but there was one major one which was that there was a hidden file in the flash0 so some people backed up there flash0 without this file and when the semi brick there psp they couldn't restore it because they did have that file but the problem was fixed in the -3 and -4 update for 3.71m33

I'm on CFW 3.52 M33-4 at the moment I was on 3.50 but used Lumines to downgrade etc.

it just depends on what you want to do if you want to play newer games like pro street the you will need to update but if your happy at the moment with the games you have i would stick with 3.52m33.
