As some of the comments say, If your buying this you know you need a MMS also. There's only been a report of 1 not working, how many have they sold. Come on, this is an excellent choice aside hard-modding your own.

there are poeple that can do it but they will cost a lot more than if you do it your self. its not all that hard and im sure everyone on this forum will help if you have a problem at any stage.
by the way does your friend have a cfw psp because you wont need to buy a tool battery if he does 0_<

all the guides will be the same none will specify because its universal.
theres a good one at the top of the mods and firmware part have a look at that one (its called Pandora's Jigkick + Magic Memory Card Easy Installer) if you buy a datel tool battery you can skip to the mms part.

lol, "comments". thats 1 comment, by me. I don't have a problem with this product. It just obviously wont work for this guy cause he knows no one with a psp with CFW thus not able to make a MMS which will lead to a giant dead end. My opinion would be first to find some one with a psp with CFW. Then follow that guide 07anto07 linked and then your good. It is simply his choice if he wants to buy a Pandora battery or make 1.

sorry wood43 i dont seem to get what your saying
first you say that you couldn't get it to work because you need someone with cfw which isnt strictly true because you can make the mms on the computer and then pop it in with the battery an away you go.
theres nothing special about the tool battery it doesnt need a different mms to the one that you create with a softmod battery.
all the datel tool battery is; is a hard modded battery so if people can hard mod there battery and downgraded or unbrick with out a cfw psp then im sure you can do the same with the tool battery.
read all the tutorials and try them next time before saying something doesnt work
im sure im not the only one that would say this.
tck_2006 if you have been put of buying a tool battery know sorry but what you can do is buy a soft mod battery and the magic memory stick all in one off ebay iv seen them around and if the battery is soft mod then you can restore it and use it again as a normal battery
hope that all helps tck_2006 0_<
