Hi guys,

I would like to know how to go from nat 3 to nat 2, i have falloed this tut

on how to open my ports for my linksys wrt300n, i have udpn enabled but still i got nat3 i dont know what else to do, any suggestion?

Well here's the pain with port forwarding the PS3, in order to do it you have to reset the router and when that happens the PS3 randomly picks a new IP address so everything you did to port forward it is now useless. What you have to do it is to give your PS3 a static IP address then do the port forwarding or even better, a DMZ (DeMilitarized Zone)

It gives detailed instructions on how to assign your PS3 a static IP and then put it in a DMZ.

This will solve your Nat issue and reduce lag, hope this helped.

Well finally i got nat 2 configuring my isp's modem fowarding port to my Access point, but still, i dont have uPnP, weird, isn't?

how come im able to have Nat 2 and not uPnP? i have checked every stetp in my adsl modem, my linksys access point and my ps3 and i still cant figoure out why

Is it important to have uPnP avaailable if i have nat 2?
