Im low on cash and cant afford to buy over priced 360 games so i need to know where to start on this modding stuff. Forgive me if i seem stupid or ask stupid qustions.

-What do i need to play back-uped games (or downloaded games in my case)?
-Whats the easiest way to pull this off?
-How expensive is it?
-is the link below all i need to get this started?

It depends on what drive you have in your 360, and the motherboard on your pc. once you find the drive you have there are tons of tutorials online on how to go about doing it. just say play back-up games, you might get banned or thread closed for admitting to piracy (it is against the forum rules).
There are also tons of tutorials for finding out what drive you have. The stickies on this forum are a great place to start, try to find out these two things first, and then maybe you can ask some more specific questions later. It's hard to just tell you what to do if we don't know ourselves.

all mrxbox does is go into peoples threads and talk trash...
what you need to do is get your xbox flashed. Not sure where you live or what kind of xbox you have but thats step one. with the new iXtreme 1.4 you can play your backups and go on xbox live. you dont need chips or to solder things into your system. Once thats done you can download the games you want to "backup" off torrent sites or newsgroups which are a little more detailed. you will need a DL burner and most people use clonecd to burn the games. You can get your xbox flashed anywhere from 40-100 bucks depending on the drive you have in it, some being easier than others. but your main focus should be flashing your drive, either yourself or having someone else do it.
