i recently got my wii modded with the wii key, its a us wii with wii key 3.2 and 1.9b wii key, today when i tried to change a game i took out an original medal of honor 2 game and inserted the metal slug game back up, the drive would not read it it would just keep spinning. i wouldnt get an error or anything, i turned off the wii and turned it back on and it read it fine, now everytime i want to change a game i have to insert it and turn off the wii and turn it back on. does this mean a problem with the drive? has it happened to anyone else?

This happens to me every so often. Usually I can swap games without restarting the wii but sometimes it wont read unless I turn it off and back on. I dont really consider it a big deal but then for me it only happens occasionally.


Maybe try updating the modchip to 1.9g. That or just live with it. I dont think it a sign of a problem with the wii.
