Want to rip isos from backups on mac no parallel

Basically I am looking for a program on my mac that will make Backups of my backups. My friend just got his system modded and he has a few of the same games that i backed up already, so im trying to make copies of the games and give him mine, rather than re-download them again which takes forever on my laptop, I know how to burn them if i could just rip the iso file somehow, thats my problem.

Can't you do your own research and find the answer yourself? Most people here are smart and don't use Macs, you made the decision to buy one, you gotta live with it not having nearly as many programs.

to be honest im not sure, I have no familiarity with programs on the mac, the only program i have is a home made 360 burning program but it only burns and stealth checks doesnt rip. I tried making 1:1 copies on my PC with clonecd but they never worked for some reason, maybe my burner is shot idk and i tried all different media as well...i can burn on staples dvd-dl discs on my mac lol and games work fine but i dont know how to rip, sounds really noob i know but im normally computer savy, and everywhere i look they say use clonecd or rip with the samsung drive and talk about pc's soim sort of stuck here

I am doing my own research, I assume you know everything about burning, and games, that must be the reason you are a member of a forum, because you just want to critique people. the point of these forums are to help people out, not to speak down to people, why waste your time writing negative replys, try being more productive with your life and helping others it will be more fufilling

if your making a copy of an already burnt game, just use nero or something similar and make a 1:1 copy of it. if your interested in making fresh new backups on your mac, there is a huge thread going on in this forum about burning with macs. it should be within the first 5 pages or so.

Thanks, Yeah not fresh backups just 1:1..i dont have the samsung drive to rip games...i usually just download my game backups. I just wasnt sure which program to use but they dont make nero for macs so what else does 1:1 copies?! i guess toast?

It amazes me how everyone can get completely off subject and not even attempt to help the original poster. There's nothing wrong with owning a mac, and things are very doable on one. I, actually have the answer and instructions to your question though. Here's what you need to do to make a backup of a backup for XBox360.
First you'll need to go here and download this program -

The program is called X360 ISO Hacker
This program you will use to "Hack" The ISO image. The problem on mac is that no burning program currently can set the proper layer break that's required for a working XBox360 game. This program adds code to the end of the image and points the burning program to the proper layer break.
2nd you'll need to go here to grab this program to burn the ISO file after you've ripped it and hacked it using the above program.

Why not use Toast you say? For some reason Toast always gives an error in the middle of the burning when trying to burn these images, so play it safe and use Burn.
And 3rd, I am unsure if you can put the xbox360 backup in and rip it using Burn, never tried it. I have used Toast however to rip a back-up. I don't have any links for you to get Toast, because it's not free. A Google search for Toast Titanium will point you to the proper places to purchase it, or you could try using Burn to rip the Back-up.
Now for instructions on how to make a backup of a backup now that you have all the tools necessary to do so.
1. Put the Back-up in your mac, and open Toast.
2. Find the Menu where under it, it gives an option of Save As Image, or something of that nature. It will take a little while to rip the image.
3. Once you have your image, open the X360 ISO Hacker program you downloaded. Navigate to where the image you just created is and click "Hack", It may take a few minutes, it will give off a sound once it's complete and tell you it's done.
4. Open the program "Burn" you downloaded earlier and select disc image, drag and drop the ISO file you've hacked into the window.
5. Click Burn, and a menu will come up, set your write speed to 2.4x or whatever you prefer (slower is best), I've only tested it at 2.4x so I can't vouch for higher speeds.
6. Wait until done and that's that.
Now it is important to keep in mind that lets say you make a backup of that backup you just created on your Mac, you will not need to hack it again, it will ripped hacked. You will also notice that lets say your game was 7.1 gigs to start with, it will be larger after it has been hacked, I've found that it normally goes to 7.3gb. This has been on all ISOs i've used, if it was originally 7.29gb, it hacked it quick and ended at 7.3gb.
I have used the above methods and programs to burn games on my Mac successfully and make back-ups of backups.

first off, im not a little kid, secondly i am extremely more intelligent than you, seeing as how you like to start arguments on forums shows your lack of intellect in the whole purpose of forums, and as for asking 100 questions i have ONE thread asking a question, and have helped out and responded to many more people than you even in being a "noob" which is your automatic title when signing on to the site and has no representation of actual knowledge just a generic tag givin to anyone who signs up to a site. while i might be "newbie" on this site im sure i have much more knowledge in my left nut than youd ever HOPE to accomplish in that pathetic head of yours! I make more money DJing ONE night than you probably make in a months pay so relax yourself, and i dont want to even consider my day job so lets not try for cheap remarks as you have no clue who I am. P.S> Hard, thank you for your insight, I will definitly try that...I have been using IMGBURN on my pc to rip my backups I already own...and then burning on my mac because my mac always burns so quick with ease...and for the asshole who likes to say im an idiot for buying a mac because im not smart, and im "cheap" i own an xps desktop as well as xps laptop and macbook pro I wanted to know how to use the mac to utilize all my computers not just use it for djing. so again i thank you for the guide, and to the people who talk trash, stay online and keep talking because if you were to ever meet the people you spoke like that too youd have some real problems !
