extened warrenty on your ps3 pay like $5 a month but it's only for people in the uk i guess

Ah that sucks for you US gamers. I dont know why sony dont do it worldwide. Oh yeah, is there anyway to check how much warranty you have left? If I phoned sony, gave them my serial no. and asked they would have to tell me wouldn't they? I wanna do continous play when the warranty runs out, since im on my 3rd ps3 at the minute, dont know why, im such a careful owner, just really bad luck I guess. I got my ps3 from ebay, so I dont know when the seller got their stock from their supplier so I dunno when its due to run out.
