Will there ever be a kernel for PSP Slim?

I have a black PSP slim and want to download and play games. There are ways but I can't risk it and I am really confused and frustrated. I just want to know if it is possible that there will be a kernel for the slim and when will it be avaible?

there are ways of playing games on a slim from your memory stick.

and it is all safe its called pandoras battery. all you need to do is make a pandoras and then make a magic memory stick and then install custom firmware onto the slim (thats it made simple)

it sounds like you don't know someone with a cfw psp already?

if this is the case then you have 2 methods on getting a pandoras battery

1 is to make it your self by hardmodding it (click my userbar and these a tutorial on how to do it)

and the other way the one that i would suggest for you is to buy a datel tool battery or a ready made pandoras battery. if you search into eBay pandoras battery and magic memory stick there are hundreds already made for you.


if you click my userbar or go to the top of the mod & firmware page there are tutorials on how to do all of this.


also the kernel changes for each firmware for example if your on 3.90 then you have the 3.90 kernel. what you need for running games of a memory stick is cfw which theres a tutorial for in the top of mods & firmware ALSO the silm cant run firmware less than 3.60 because it was not built for it (yes i do know of the time machine)
