yer downgrade it first as long as you charged it up for about 2 hours it should be fully charged. i seen a lot of people going on about it not charging to 100% i think it because the eeprom is removed so it goes a bit funny on the charging side.

so give it a good long charge downgrade (or go to 3.71m33 or others for SLIM and for fat but will need the addon for fat but do that after)

then once its finished solder the pin back down and your battery should start to charge as normal if not give it a good long charge and put it in your psp and see if it lasts like if it was 100% charged if not then im not i dont really know what to do but buy a new battery.

hope that all help 0_<

i dont really know if its normal but i know people have had the same problem in the past so i guess it is lol

just plug it in and ignore it when it gets to 100% because it should keep charging until the battery is full which it wont be if its charged for 1 and half mins

hope that helps 0_<

did you just leave it in turn the console off and then wait about 1 to 2 hours and then try it.

what im trying to say is that it might say on the psp is charge when really it not so it will show 100% but it should still charge the battery because the battery is not 100% charged one it is 100% charge then the power will stop going to the battery.

just keep it in there for ages and it should be near or fully charged.

if that doesn't work then i dont really know of any way of fixing it apart from resolder the pin that you removed back in.

hope that helps 0_<
