Just upgraded to 3.71 m33-4....from 3.40 oa...just curious what are the best settings in the recovery menu to use...so i can use my game iso's having problems running some thks.

well there isnt really that much you can do apart from set the cpu speed to 333mhz for games (battery drain) and you can choose to use no-UMD or not

apart from that your iso file should run fine any way without a problem

thks for the quick reply.....but still having problems with some games such as rocky ..used to work before i upgraded do you think if i upgrade to 390 it will sort this problem out thks.

hmm could try it but just muck about with the iso setting first in recovery mode like changing it so that the regional settings are set to fake and stuff like that 0_<
try that first.

hi boot into recovery disable everything, set game folder homebrew kernal to 3.71, umd mode to m33 driver or sony np9660, then click back, go to advanced>advanced config> make sure these are disabled then hit back>back then exit you should have no problems running homebrew games.

heres my settings...
skip sony logo....disabled
hide corupt icons...disabled
game folder homebrew...150 kernel
autorun program at/psp/game/boot/eboot.pbp....disabled
umd mode...have tryed all these settings
fake region....disabled
free umd region....disabled
hard reset on homebrew....disabled
xmb usb device....memory stick



both things in advance....disabled..
still having problems loading iso's..start to load but just switch of psp

just tryed enabeling free umd region....starts loading from memory stick but then just shuts down.hmmmm

install it it might fix the problem. but cant see why because all the iso stuff is installed in the 3.71m33 update

here use this one just copy the folder called update to your game folder

you got it in the right place

x:/psp/game/update/ (for if the kernel is set to 3.71)
x:/psp/game371/update/

in the update folder there should be:

150.pbp
pspdecrypt.prx
libpsardumper.prx
ipl_update.prx
EBOOT.PBP

if not then your missing a file

in update folder 5 files
