Can i downgrade my psp slim ofw 3.90 to 1.50 using pandora?

i have downloaded the 'pandora' program and the 'ofw 1.50' to my computer

can you help me prepare a jigkick battery that i can return back to normal, and can you also help me make a "magic memory stick"?

i do not have a cfw psp, and i don't know anyone with a cfw psp...

i accidentally upgraded my psp slim to sony's ofw 3.90, so i can't play any of my playstation games on my psp anymore, like re2 for instance...

also, i have a bricked psp that i want to fix for my friend with pandora....

alright enough of this, post in the correct forum area please

you need to create a magic memory stick (cfw not needed)
http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/610312

then either hard mod your battery, or get a datel tool battery

post in the correct area next time, and your answers will be more complete!:)

moved to correct forum as not a news issue.

tripplite, next time do an offensive report so this can be moved without multi-posting happening.

when i followed that link it said that u need to have either 1.50 or cfw firmware...the guy said that he has 3.90 ofw...can that still be done with his psp? wondering since i have same prob.

also, i was wondering.. as new official updates are released, is the pandora battery route the only way to downgrade ur psp, or is there another way to do that...even if i have to wait a while...

you cant create the battery on a official firmware psp but you can create the memory card on it:)

once the memstick is created you need to either hardmod yourself a Pandora's battery or buy a tool battery like i linked you to:)

and yes Pandora's is the only way out:)

Will there ever be a program or something like that to downgrade in the future or is it completely unhackable and the only way ever to downgrade from 3.90 + is to use pandoras battery? Just to clear things up.

after the creation of the pandora's battery no one puts effort into such tasks, cfw downgraders do exist though, so yes the only way to downgrade would be with pandoras battery as i said before,

to create a downgrader independent of the pandoras battery would be a MONSTER development
