on psp official site it says not to upgrade to 3.9 if ur psp in non-american,i have region 3 slim psp if i update to 3.90m33 is there any chance of harming my psp
i can run file assistent 1.2 on my psp with eloader but it hangs if i transfer big files any suggetions?

If you update to 3.90m33 no harm will be caused to your PSP >_>
Download the official 3.90 firmware from HERE My friend has a PSP from Hong-Kong and well, I installed 3.71m33-4 on it with the official 3.71 firmware and it successfully upgraded :)
Yeah, you do need the pandora battery for timemachine to work :)
