Hey guys,
the issue is like this
I got the following:
1. NEC R+-W dvd drive
2. DVD +R disc
3. an ISO of my original wii game.
(dont got any wiikey chip or something like that).
the problem is that a successful burn of the ISO with both IMGBURN and nero i can not see the file in the the disk.
Windows inform that the disk is full but no files are displayed.
Also when running the game with my wii fails.
Got any idea what seems to be the problem?
(BTW burning different data than WII ISO is fine and i'm 100% positive that the iso itself is also fine)

The above is normal. The PC knows the info is there but it can not processes the information. So the disc appears to be empty when you try to have the PC read it.

Do you think all of us would be buying Modchips to install in or Wii if it was as easy as burning a Wii ISO to disc?

There are 100's of threads talking about Modchips and needing a Modchip to play backups. So what do you think your issue is?

so i got this question do i need the Modchips even if the games are from the same region as my ???
if so wiikey can be a good solution?
what about using the regionfrii\brickblocker application?is this a cheaper\better alternative?

Yes you need a modchip. Yes Wiikey is a good solution as long as your Wii does not have the D2C chipset.

Wii brick blocker only patches the update on the game disc and regionfrii only patches the region code of the game disc.

You have to have some sort of Modchip to play backup games. There is no softmod available.
