does the flash wear off or somthing y am i going to have to flash it again in the future, i mean i know thye release new hacked firmware but y keep changing it?

They keep changing it mainly because M$ comes out with ways to detect the firmware and ban your console. Also for new dvd drives used in the 360s and for better compatibility, but mainly for the first reason.

I would say if possible update your firmware every time they come out with a revision just to be safe- notice I said if possible because some people such as my self dont want/able to flash their 360 themselves or pay/know somebody to do it for them every time they release an update. I think theres something called Blaster360 can be installed on your box so you dont have to open your 360 every time you want to re-flash, it is just a way to access the dvd drive without ripping open the console search for it I dont know too much about it and how well it works. As for knowing what M$ is up to keep up to date on 360 flashing news and especially xbox live updates but there is no guarantee they wont figure out a way to detect hacked firmware but that is the risk that you take with modding your 360. Now if you dont use XBL at all then there is nothing to worry about.
