My friend sold this tv to me for just a 100bucks.I use it on my PS3.I have a little problem...whenever i go to playstation store i can't see the whole screen width-wise.It supports resolution up to 1080i.What can be the problem?Thanks in advance.

Do you have it connected through a component or HDMI cable?

Use Hdmi then. That should sort your problem.

its your tv.. it uses crt technology on a hdtv...
its called overscan..
i have the same problem with my 57" toshiba crt hdtv connected via hdmi to dvi..

theres absolutely no way to fix it that i can think of unless your tv has a scaling option.. or apparently you can pay tv repair guys to go into secret menus to calibrate it accordingly.

from other forums i asked about the problem... apparently there was an update for lcds to not have "overscan"..but it made people with crt hdtv even worse...

when i use the browser.. i can barely see the loading sign.. its like 1/2 cut off...
