the eject button doesnt get pushed in as much as it used to. so i cant use the button but if i take the faceplate off, with a paperclip i can push the chrome thing its connected to through a hole in the front cover.

has this happened to anyone? any ideas to fix it? i tried but no matter what i do it doesnt go back to its original seating. i guess i just eject in game but how do you eject if theres a game already in there? all it says is play game option but doesnt let me eject.

is the eject button seated properly? theres no reason why it wouldnt work just because you flashed it.

there is a grove that part of the plastic piece sets in, its kind of hard to explain but you want to make sure that the top plastic edge of the eject button is in between the two little notches. Don't try to force it over both (i thought it looked like it should be over both at firs), but you need to just let it rest naturally.

_____
________ <--- the top plastic lip should rest in between those 2
______ ...short dashes

(tried to get a better diagram but afterdawn doesn't like ascii art :(

Huh, I was having the same problem, I'm not home right now but my button isn't seated properly either, I tried to work it into place but I'll try some more crafty tricks like the paper thing XD

Make sure that the top case is seated correctly. Sometimes the metal RF shield cover does not seat properly resulting in the case not mating to the cage properly.

I've flash tons of 360s and I've learned it's best to make sure you have the eject button in place and it's hitting properly before you put everything back together. If not, you'll have to take it all back apart if you want the eject button to work right.
