I wanted to try this since I don't wan to mess with it internally.
Does this work better or should I use the SATA flashing method?

You still have to open it once and na man most people just do a stright mod. Updates dont come out that often anymore

i agree, its a waste of money, even if updates are once a month its still a waste.
invest in one of the tools to open the xbox 360 and save your money.

Yeah I would have to agree with Dindi and fudpucker,just get some decent tools to open it up.I have a Zoo Zen tuning kit that has just about everything in it to open every console.I don't regret buying it since I use it constantly,opened up the XBox 360 in about 10 mins at the most.

they are both SATA flashing methods. Read howw you have to install the blaster. You will see that you will be messing with the internals either way.

Why use the blaster 360.If you stick to regular flashing it would be better and save you time.Ive seen the tutorial for it(Blaster 360).If you flash it just the Sata way,it can be easier if you have all the right tools to open your xbox 360 and flash it.I agree with the other people who replied.I have read the xbox 360 flashing guide and to me it looks easier.Just flash it using the method most people do.Updates havent come out for fw the last time I checked Xbins and that ugly blaster 360 thing sits on top of ur 360 and looks ugly.If I were you,I would flash it the regular way.As for me my drive might be v79 so if you will flash yours,I would say regular flash because if you read the guide,it seems way easier.The guide can be found at www.360mods.com in the downloads section.(Just in case)Thats all I got to say

I use a screwdriver from an eyeglass kit and it still only takes me 20 minutes to get the case open. I don't see the problem.

hardest part is unsnapping the case. i would say 20 minutes is a little extreme. did mine in 5 - 10 with a regular old torx and a flathead screwdriver.
