Real Media to VCD using TmpGenc?

I've successfully converted a RealMedia video to VCD format using graphedit and the DirectShow Real Media decoders that come with with Media Player Classic (http://sourceforge.net/projects/guliverkli/). But I'd like to take advantage of the excellent MPEG encoder in TmpGenc. When I try to load the .rm file in TmpGenc, I get a format unsupported error even though the DirectShow File Reader is top priority (3) in VFAPI plugin settings.

Is there a way to get TmpGenc to load the Real Media decoders so that I can use it?

NO....TMPGEnc never has or ever will support RM Files, RM is such a Low Quality Crappy Format that it really isn"t much worth Makeing a VCD Out of...You will either have to convert this File to AVI first or use something like EO_Video to encode it to Mpeg but the Quality and speed of EO_Video is Crap....

Thanks, I know RM is a crappy format. But when I used GraphEdit and the only MPEG1 DirectShow encoder I've got to create a VCD, it looked even crappier.

But I answered my question myself by doing a bit more research. I was able to use AVISynth as a frameserver for TMPGEnc using the AVISynth DirectShowSource function.
