First off first I'm new to the site and just want to say hey to everyone.
But on to the question....
Well I have been buying the White Inkjet Hub Printable disk and I just wanted to know what the pros and cons of the the white v.s. silver? Also I have noticed there are disks that say clear hubs, are they able to print on that hub?

1)Silver inkjet printable:

Having used reg hub, full hub,Shiny, and Lightscribe:

I like the full hub Silver inkjet printable. They give a distinct cover on them. Full hub for more surface to write on is the best option.

White full hub: Mediocre results for the Matte.. Awesome in the Full hub glossy Ty watershields. Both those Watershields and Full hub silver inkjet printable give some of the finest covers-Period!!

2) You can't print on the clear inner hub-ink won't adhere. There's different settings on epson printers for the Reg hub and Full hub.

3) Shiny thermal printable-also called shiny Lacquer: Lots of people mistake them for the shiny inkjet printable. You can run them through an inkjet printer, but the ink won't adhere to them. You need a thermal printer. Sharpies will work great on them. Some peeps may even slap sticker labels on them-major no-no. The prices for this media is usually very cheap. Not so for the inkjet printables.

I got some pics in my user profile if you want to take a gander at it!
