I'm trying to get config 1.3 base disc to work to set my region settings. Following the guide:
Quote:Your WiiKey will need to be set to region free mode, this can be done with a config disk found at the WiiKey website prior to the Wii 3.x firmware, after this you will most likly need to download and burn http://rapidshare.com/files/48731676/config1.3.zip.html
Boot up with that disc. It'll ask for a Wiikey config disc, stick in the 1.3 disc, Turn on region free, save, reboot.
Should now be able to boot up 1.3 config disc straight.
I follow the guide and everything works except when I reset, the 1.3 config disc does NOT work straight and when I redo the steps, the region free setting is turn off again.
Please help. Why is it not saving my region free settings? Why doesn't the 1.3 config disc work directly?
Also I dont know if this matters, but file from rapidshare is 4GB when filechopped, however, the 1.3 config disc is only 1.4GB when filechopped. Does that matter?

don't worry they are definitely off but for some reason for security purposes you cant access them again. I think its to stop nintendo from detecting it
Originally posted by juniR: Region override doesn't turn itself off or on - whatever you set it at when you use the config disk is saved - the config boots up with default settings that you can alter - It does NOT report the settings of the Wiikey.
