I guess all my bashing of people with stupid questions caught up with me, I just got the RROD, karma bit me in the @ss lol. I just need the Arcade version one, do most of them come with the Hitachi 79K? I will just get my MS refurb and put on e-bay, just want the newer one to have the Falcon. Are they still sending out the Pre-falcon refurbs now?

F yeah man, LOL, it just f-ing figures, I used a fan behind it and used the vertical fan underneath it, and I get it. I had gotten thos POS refurb back from MS like 2 months ago, got hot as heck right away, knew it wouldn't last. Dude check your email, i need to talk to you man.

Dindi, keep in mind, I can't mod mine at all (i'll admit i'm lame at that lol), would you buy a new one with the Falcon and sell the refurb replacement or just press your luck with paying someone to mod the refurb and hope it doesn't break again?

I bought a new Elite this morning, it's AMAZING, how much cooler the Falcon ones are compared to the other ones. Right CL, just a matter of time for all of us for our 360s to break and for us to get banned. It's been out awhile, looks like they would fix that S by now.

Why in the heck does MS not just put the Hitachi 0079K drives in ALL the 360s so it makes it harder to mod??

I was wondering the same thing. If modding is a problem why not just do what they did with with the 79k and put a stop to flashing. Im guessing it has to do something with the programing or what not idk

Probably more expensive drive, but they should do it for sure. They know about the modding crap, weird they don't prevent it. Dindi, please tell us all this, how did you mod your regular Xbox to play 360 games?? That's COOL.

I dont understnad why they would ban anyone from live anyways for moding? The system can still play the games and everything you just cant go online. Why hurt yourself thats $50 less a year for them plus whatever else you buy from downloads.
