How to get a GAME update from Xbox Live with a Banned console?

I just downloaded Bully and certainly the game has tonnes of bugs in it and Rockstar says that a Patch is coming soon. I want to get that patch but because my Xbox360 was banned from Live and I want to know if there is any other way to get it.

an attitude like that won't get you much help.

That is about all i could find other than making a disc that will update the console so it can play Xbox 1 games.
Or maybe buy the Xport or something from Datel, then you can download saves and such and transfer them to the memory card or hard drive.

You're screwed, either don't worry about the update or buy a new console and don't get it banned this time. Anyone who downloads games is taking a HUGE risk.

actually steimy is right....there is a way to do this through downloading the update from micro$oft website i think and then burning it on a cd...
try Google!

I could only find that on colsole updates and not game updates. So that is not 100% as far as doing game updates. There may not be a way to do those.

Take your hard drive and game and use them on a buddies 360 who isn't banned. Put your hard drive on his console, log on with your gamertag, insert the game, and update via LIVE.
Game updates are stored on the hdd, not the mobo, so you're good to go.
I'd suggest not using a bad backup, though ;)
