When I connect my USB Cable to my PSP and PC and go to recovery mode and toggle Flash0 all I get on screen are the files and stuff on my memory card instead of the dic, font and vhs folders. I have tried everything I can think of but nothing is working can anyone help me?

I have also tried formatting Flash1 which I read on this forum as a solution but it didnt work for me

Hi,

I already have 3.90 M33-2. The only way I can get in to is by pressing Select and changing USB Mode to Flash0 but with this there are some folders missing IE Go into VSH and I believe Im supposed to see a folder called Module but its not there.

it must be there or your console wont work 0_<

it might be a hidden folder so try turning that on.

is that for a phat or a slim i know the slim has some bugs but it wouldnt be anything like this.

try reinstalling the 3.90m33 cfw and see if that fixes the problem 0_<

hope that all helps

Hi,

It is the Slim PSP Model 2003. My partners is the same model just black and not white and his works fine. I have tried reinstalling 3.90 M33-2 and it still does it.

did you try putting hidden folders on windows xp and see if they are there when it connects through the vhs menu.

theres not much more i can think fo but look at the other slim psp and see if there are any settings that are different in recovery mode if there are change them to the one that works.

hope that helps 0_<

Just checked and my partners PSP does the same. There is a dic, font and vsh folfer but inside the vsh folder there is a folder names ETC and RESOURCE but no NODULE.

I was really wanting to put my own custom bootsound on the PSP hence why Im asking but until I find the correct folders I cant.

humm might be a slim thing thinking about it. it might only be the phat psp that has thoughs folders.

before you do anything back up you flash0!!!! so you can recover it if you semi brick it

to show hidden folder do this (im on xp but i dont think it will be different for vista)

open up my computer

then go to tools

then folder options

then view

go down to the bit where it say show hidden folders and click it on

hope that helps out

if that doesnt work iv got a vista machine so i can find it if its different to xp but i dont think it will

0_<

I remember when I had the old PSP it did have the Nodule folder but I honestly do not remember the Slim having it. I have tried the Hidden folder option I just found out how to do it and nothing.

I had this exact problem and couldn't access my flash0. After trying nearly everything I could think of, I decided to format my flash1. After formatting the flash1, the PSP restarted and when I tried accessing my flash0 folder it worked perfectly!

check to see that the file that you need to change isn't in resources
it might be in there.

but have a good search round on google and see if you can find anything
