I have a Hitachi LG 47dj, flashed it myself, went to play back-up and got "Mixed Media Disc". The original, movies, and back-ups of dvd's play just fine. Burned back-up 5x with Lite-On DVDrw SHW-160p6s, using imgburn, nero, clone-cd using Sony DVD+R DLs. Don't know what I'm doing wrong. Any help would be appreciated.

Try burning at 2.4X (with Imgburn) and set the layer break to 1913760.

Edit:Are you using ixtreme FW or xtreme FW?

Thank you for responding so quickly. I did burn at 2.4x, I should have said I've made 5 coasters not 5x, I used ixtreme FW 1.4

And you are using the proper layer break, have you checked the image with XDVD Mulleter? To check whether or not it is ixtreme compatible.
Also make sure the game's region is the same as your console.

Checked the image it is compatible, game region is the same, no clue on how to check he layer break

You can set the layer break manually (using Imgburn) by going into Tools ---> Settings ---> Write ---> Layer break (for DL media) Click user specified and type in 1913760.
