Hmmm looks like a big counter to the wasabi and great for ppl who want to chip any Wii - including those (like myself) who might have to pull their wiikeys at some stage - very interesting.

But don't you have to buy the Injectus Jtag / Argon Programmer USB to update your firmware? Making it more expensive than the Wasabi?

the jtag update is way better than the dvd update. they even explain the difference between the dvd update and jtag update in the links larry posted at top.
i'd rather spend the money on a chip that's more future-proof, than a cheap one.

The Infectus 2 comes with the programmer. But yes you will need to buy the Jtag programmer if you get an ARGON.
But as cee43ja1 said the Jtag is nice to have if an updated is needed that a DVD update can not perform.

Wow, thanks for the fast replies. Now I'm definitely getting a Infectus.
Looks like I'll need quite a sum of money...are they making a Wii Clip version compatible for the Infectus?

soldering directly is better than a adapter. also, since the wire count is significally less (especially D2C), it's not going to take long to solder on.

Yeah, everyone keeps saying that, but I don't have the means to get the money to buy a fine tipped iron and some tin.
I'm gonna be break as heck, lmao. But all of you, thank you for the information!
