I have read the post on copying games with the LG drives, but there isn't a great deal of information out there on using DVDDump with the Wiikey Config disc.

2GB SD cards can be purchased off eBay for approx $10-15.

I haven't got DVDDump to recognise the SD card, but I have used Gecko Game Copy to backup my original games.

The process takes about 50 minutes in total to copy. It will fill up the card, pause allowing you to transfer it to the PC, then it will continue. Use HJ Split to rejoin the ISO and burn.

Its gotta be easier and cheaper then the alternative LG Drives.

I tried this with the 1.2 wiikey config disk. I have the internal gecko installed in my wii. I go to the backup option and it says to swap out the disks. I put in the original, and then push a button. It says reading disk, then it says reading sd card, and then it says "error reading card". I have tried it over and over and it says the same thing every time. If I go into the photo channel it reads the sd card.

ps. I do format it correctly as far as I know before trying to dump the game onto it. I use the format.bat that came with the apps bundle.
