i was just wondering on some advice the nyko intercoolers obviously don't work according to one of the threads on here but i wanted to know if the tsolomon LED fans work enough to go out and buy em, or would laptop cooling pads and stands work or you can get gel cooling pads for laptops aswel wondering if they could be used on the xbox360 or putting fans near the console and whether there worth buying any advice would be cool thanks

i use the talismoon fans and i got a clear case to go with it. Not only does it look cool but it keeps it cool too. I have had no problem yet.

i believe what cigaro1 wants is if any has an idea on cooling the 360 without having to necessarily open the 360 up (as in the talismoon fans).

i would be interested as well as i'm too lazy to open my 360 again...

well this is going to be the most effective way and its easy to do. I guess if you are worried about the warranty then you wouldnt want to do this.

you just replace the stock fan.... very simple install. it is just a plug you unplug and plug the new one in

If you have a non-Falcon, it is just a matter of time before you get the RROD. I used a vertical cooling fan and a fan behind it, never played it more than 2 hours, and it was in a wide open space and I have had 2 RRODs. They just are all defective. I got a new Falcon and it runs a LOT cooler.

i bought the Elite before they came out with the newer version and I've never got the 3ROD. I use the Antec laptop cooler. http://www.circuitcity.com/ssm/Antec-Dua...roductDetail.do
it pulls the hot air down from the console.

I have a talismoon in my first console. Never had it overheat. Then again my whole house is cool and the Elite i have with a stock fan has also never overheated.

In addition to any cooling you use you should make sure it is sitting horizontal and off of the floor. Like set down a few old VCR tapes on the floor first then center the console on top of those. That way it will have good air flow.
