I installed the Wiikey 1.9g firmware today on my Wii, and made a backup of Super Smash Brothers so I could play the game. For some reason ever since today, my Wii will have a horizontal line flicker once in awhile.

I'm not sure if it's coincidence, but it never happened before so I think it may be due to the 1.9g firmware. I tried searching but was unable to come up with much help through the results. Any suggestions?

Also thought I'd add that I'm running in 480p widescreen mode using component cables.

It might be a faulty cable.

Here is what happened to me i purchased a madcatz hdtv wii component cable.

After 2 months of use i started to receive graphic errors and not just minor one's. Major one's.

I would receive green splotches and lines i found out it wasn't my wii but the cheap hdtv cable.
