Hello, I recently got the Error E74 which is the one red light, and since my warrenty is up, I was wondering if anyone had a good video/text tutorial on how to fix this problem or any tips. I heard it has got something to do with the Xclamps and I dont want to pay for it to be fixed without trying to fix it myself. Thanks.

There is a good chance with the e-74 error that the xclamp replacement will fix your problem.

The amount of pennies used may vary.

I recommend doing all of the above to cover all your bases with one shot.

From my experience, the E-74 error is just one step away from a full fledged 3 rings of death. It can be fixed the same way. I hope it works for you.

Edit: if the xclamp replacement seems a bit hard, you could just try the AS5 AND the penny fix first together. If that doesn't work then do the xclamp fix. It's up to you, but then you'd have to redo the AS5 thermal paste.
