Hi I Got a Wii for xmas and wanted to fit a wiikey mod-chip for DVD's and Homebrew but someone said if it has a D2CSomething wii key wont work.
some one says you can find out by your serial and i was wondering if this was the start of a D2C Serial it begins with, LEH 145

It says

Your Drive Pins are most likely not cut.


That Means nothing to me
Does it mean it can have the WiiKey Modchip or not?

D2C drives can NOT use wiikeys. They can be modded with other more expensive (but better) modchips.

You can't have even googled those chips never mind read all the info in 3 mins.

My advice ... buy the new ARGON when it comes out - I dunno if it will be the best - nobody does cos things keep changing but if you cba to explore all the options and try and make an informed choice yourself you might as well stick anything in there. ;)
