I want to know if its true, because if it is i will postpone my wait on the fat ps3 . I also read in egm a record price drop of 100$ from 399 to 299

Well, I think the Slim PS3 is ugly, but some features might be added/stripped, so I'm not sure weather to wait. But, on June 12, you should really buy the PS3 MGS4 Bundle.

There will be a PS3 slim/light EVENTUALLY but its not gonna happen for a long time, at least another year. So unless you want to wait at least a year I wouldnt bother holding your breath for it.

how about the redcorded price drop coming this july form E3, that must be some speculation for a marketing tactic for teh upcoming ps3 , just like the old ps2 , a price drop then came the new slim
