Just wanna ask if duplicated channels will be duplicated?

As in, if you got duplicated channels from 1 game e.g. guitar hero 3,
will you get another duplicate channels when you wanna take risk of duplicating channels from other game?

The extra channels come from the out of region update. There are two for each region. I would doubt you will get more than one pair of extra channels for each region and I've not read of anyone with more than 2.

Example. If you update a PAL machine with a USA disk you will get 2 USA channels (which don't work). If you update again using another USA disk I would expect there to be no change and you still have the 2 extra channels. However, I can't be sure that if you go ahead and update from a JAP disk as well that you won't also get the pair for the JAP region as well. I've not read of anyone trying that, mainly because ppl are more cautious after getting dupe channels in the first place.

If the game is the correct region for the console then no brick/dupes yeah. Only out of region causes these problems.

Also if you want to get rid of the duplicate channels the next update will do that for you.

Really? I thought that you were stuck once you had them. Did you have the dupes and get rid of them using an update?

Edit - just had a good look and I'm sure there is no known way to get rid of the dupes at this time.

There is no way to get rid of the duplicated channels. Even when a new update comes out.

You can however move them to a different page so they are out of site. Hover over the channel and press B and then A holding them down and drag the channel to the right to bring it to the second or third page.

I thought you can remove duplicated channels by reformating your wii.

No - wiichess - you can't. I tried that ages ago and I think it'd be one of those things that was mentioned regularly all over the forums if anybody had been successful.
