Hello everyone, about 5 hours ago i was trying to run FF8 and i was having some difficulty in doing so and at the time I was in CFW 3.90 M33-2 and an incredibly bone head idea flashed through my head. "Downgrade to 3.80 using the pandora" i was already having griefs with the 3.90 so i thought what the heck and maybe it'll work. Everything was seemingly going great during the downgrade (used pandora method)loaded the XMB screen and then all of sudden afterwards my PSP would freeze every 30 seconds or so, following the freeze the PSP would then turn off by itself and to turn it back on i would either have to remove the battery then re-insert it and try and switch it back on and see if the XBM screen would load (which it would) or wait maybe 15 seconds to try and see if it would turn on pretty much on its own and load the XMB screen. Even if it would reach the XMB screen it would still freeze after maybe 30 seconds with connecting the USB, flashing a game and things of that nature. I already backed up the NAND beforehand and i think i have everything else covered, so to make this already long story short. What do i do to stop the freezing and really what exactly is going on? Also should i back up the NAND? If so how do i do it. Any help would seriously be appreciated no kidding here. Thank You.

I would downgrade to 3.71 m33. so far i've noticed that it run the best with PS1 games. it may also stop your psp from locking up frequantly

A commonly known problem. Its a bricked PSP. Just restore the nand using the pandora battery and memory stick. After that, it should go to your previous version 3.90 M33-2. Then have a second backup of your nand if you want to downgrade. After you downgraded, the PSP should boot up fine.

Get out your pandora set, boot your PSP in service mode and press square. This is a dangerous process but is the only way to get your PSP working again.

Sorry I haven't responded I have been trying to it on my own, I actually can't seem to get the nand dump to start. I followed everything and I get some sort of message telling me that either it didn't find the nand dump or something around those lines. What do i do? Thanks for the reply.
