jap super smash no picture please help!

hi i have a pal wii with japanese super smash bros brawl. it loads but there is no picture! i can hear all the right sounds and its obviously playing but no picture! My settings page is also semi-bricked! Anyone know how i can get it to work properly? please help. thx. jack

Semi brick can not be fixed at this time. You need a disk with a higher update from YOUR console region to fix it and that might be mario kart.
